The start of the new parliamentary working year in Sweden

The new Swedish parliamentary working year started on Tuesday September 15th with the opening of the 2009/10 Riksdag session.

At the request of the Speaker, the King declared the session open. The Prime Minister then presented the Statement of Government Policy.
