Stieg Larssons popularity continues

Stieg Larssons book ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ (Män som hatar kvinnor) was the bestselling book in EU last year, according to the branch magazine Svensk Bokhandel.

It made the top 10 in five countries, with 510,800 copies sold in France alone. Also in the World top list, where sale statistics from USA and China are included, Stieg Larsson is in the top. The girl with the Dragon Tattoo is second on that list after Khaled Hosseini.

The survey is based on official top lists for France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, China, Spain, Sweden, Great Britain and USA.
