Visa Facilitation Agreement with Macedonia

A Visa Facilitation Agreement between the European Community and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia¹, entered into force on 1 January 2008.

This means new rules for issuance of Schengen visas for certain groups of Macedonian citizens.

Oct 19 2009 Presidency Statement on good neighbourly relations
A border agreement between Macedonia and Kosovo was ratified by the parliaments of both countries on October 17. The EU Presidency has issued the following statement:
