Conference: Justice and Rule of Law in the South Caucasus

A conference on the rule of law, organised by the Council of Europe within the framework of the Swedish Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers and in co-operation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, is taking place in Tbilisi (Georgia) between 19 and 20 November.

The main subject of discussion is ''Justice and Rule of Law in the South Caucasus – achievements and challenges for the judicial professions.'' This event is attended by Justice Ministers, Presidents of Supreme Courts, Principal State Prosecutors, Ombudspersons and other members of the judicial professions in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Sven Otto Littorin, minister for Employment of Sweden, takes part in the conference.
