Sweden says "I do" to Same-Sex Marriage

First of May this year, Sweden became the seventh country in the world to wholly embrace gender-neutral marriage. To highlight this new legislation towards openness and equality, the Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo will host a seminar 20 July with speakers from Sweden, Japan, the Netherlands and the United States.

What made it possible? How did it happen in the various countries? What were the pros and cons?

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) forms the basis for international climate cooperation.
