Study in Sweden Fair 2009 a success

It's obvious that many Japanese have a keen interest in Sweden and Swedish, considering the great number of people attending this year's Study in Sweden Fair at the Embassy of Sweden, the 19 May.

Approximately 15 Swedish and Japanese universities and schools presented themselves and their education in the exhibition hall. The almost 160 guests could then listen to speakers talking about the Swedish educational system, in general as well as about specific educational institutions, experiences from studying in Sweden and how to go about to get a study visa.

The Embassy would like to thank all participants for a very successful Study in Sweden Fair 2009.

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) forms the basis for international climate cooperation. Decisions are to be taken on a new global climate agreement to take effect after 2012 at the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen from 7-18 December 2009.

Jun 3 2009 Swedish film stars in Tokyo
This year’s edition of the annual and now traditional EU Film Days, started 28 May and will continue through to 20 June. The venue is, like previous years, the National Film Center in Tokyo.
