The Swedish Minister of Trade on visit to Syria

Yesterday, 16 June, HE the Swedish Minister of Trade, Ewa Björling, arrived to Syria for an official visit. She will be accompanied by a trade delegation.

On 16 June the Minister were holding meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Dardari, Head of Chambes of Commerce, Mr. Ghassan Kallaa, also with the Deputy Minister of Trade, Mr. Ghassan Habash.

HE the Swedish Minister of Trade, Ewa Björling, started her second day in Syria by visiting the Swedish Embassy, were she spoked about the essential of the free trade and Swedens priorites as the Presidency of EU.

The Minister will continue her day with meetings with the Syrian Minister of Electricity, Mr. Ahmad Qussay Kayali and Minister of Education, Mr. Ali Saed, also with representatives from Syrian companies and business interests.
