EU film festival in Beirut

The European Commissions’ delegation to Lebanon is currently holding a film festival in Beirut.

The festival started on 27th of November and will continue until the 7th of December. The first film to be shown was the French contribution, which will then be followed by movies from the other member states. The Swedish contribution is the film “One eye red”, which is based on a novel by Jonas Hassen Khemiri bearing the same name. The Swedish movie will be shown two times during the festival: on Sunday 30th of November and on Thursday the 4th of December at 8 p.m.

The movie “One eye red” were shown in Swedish cinemas during 2007, and will hereby be available for a Lebanese audience.
