Credential ceremony in Syria

On the 13th of October ambassador Niklas Kebbon presented his letters of credence to the president of Syria, Bashar Al Assad. He was accompanied by his staff Ms Martina Quick, Mr Pascal Restel, Ms Hélène Saubert and Mr Claes Löfgren.

The ceremony took place in the presidential palace. The national anthems of Syria and Sweden were played upon arrival. Present at the ceremony was also the foreign minister of Syria, Mr Mouallem.
