Minister of Civil Affairs, Mr. Sredoje Novic, said that the Ministry and IDDEEA have met all the requirements from the Decision of the Council of Ministers, and that they followed the dynamics as specified by the adopted plan for introduction of biometric travel documents. Minister announced that the delivery of the first tranche of biometric passports is expected on October 15, which implies the possibility of their issuance before the set deadline, which was beginning of next year. Thus, one of the most important requirements for introduction of visa-free regime with the European Union countries will be met.
Mr. Nikola Spiric, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Mr. Sinisa Macan, Director of IDDEEA, Mr. Sredoje Novic, Minister of civil affairs, Mr. Boris Iarochevitch, Head of the operations of the Delegation of European Commission to BiH and H.E.
