Two Swedish Writers Will Attend Jan Smrek Festival

Two Swedish writers will participate in this year’s Jan Smrek festival, which will be held from 18 October till 22 October.

Peter CURMAN will read his poems on 18 October in Skalica and on 19 October in Bratislava (Zichy Palace), a discussion with students is planned for 20 October in Trnava.

The winner of August Strindberg Award Per Olov ENQUIST will present his book BOKEN OM BLANCHE OCH MARIE in Bratislava (Mozart Hall) on 20 October. A Slovak translation of this novel has recently been published in the publishing house MilaniuM. Per Olov ENQUIST will also attend a seminar in the Theatre a.ha on 21 October where his comedy TRIBADERNAS NATT will be played the same evening.

The Swedish Embassy in Bratislava is one of the partners of the festival.
