Business Linkage Forum

Since 2005 Sida and the Swedish government has been funding the Business Linkage project which helps small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) to connect with trans-national corporations (TNCs).

Ambassador Anders Johnson is one of the main speakers at the Business Linkage Forum which takes place at the Kampala Serena Hotel on the 31st of January 2008.
Sida has since October 2005 sponsored the program for linking small and medium scale enterprises with trans-national corporations. The programme attracted six TNCs (MTN Uganda, Kinyara Sugar, Celtel, Uganda Breweries Ltd, Roofings Ltd and National Housing and Construction Company Ltd) and 26 SMEs in the four sectors of Telecommunication, Agribusiness, Manufacturing and Real Estate Development. The programme is implemented by Enterprise Uganda.
