Sweden takes on the challenge - Fredrik Reinfeldt on Sweden's priorities for the EU Presidency

“Managing the financial crisis and unemployment and addressing climate change – these will be the two main priorities of the Swedish Presidency.” So said Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt today at a seminar at CEPS, the Centre for European Policy Studies, in Brussels, where he spoke about the Swedish Presidency.

New Ambassador of Sweden to Angola

Sweden's new Ambassador to Angola, Mr Bo Emthén, took up his position on 25 May. The upcoming Swedish EU Presidency will be one of the first tasks for the new Ambassador. Strengthening trade relations between Angola and Sweden another.

Stronger trade relations with Angola

The Government decided on 2 October, 2008 to open a trade office at the Swedish Embassy in Luanda. The office will be a natural part of the Embassy's activities and will be run by the Swedish Trade Council.

Embassy of Norway to handle Schengenvisas for Sweden

From the 1st of March 2008 the Norweigan Embassy in Luanda will handle the applications for Schengen visas also for Sweden. Applicants should turn directly to the Embassy of Norway in Luanda.
