Information about new procedures for applying for visa

On January 1, 2007 the Embassy of Sweden in Abuja, Nigeria introduced a new internet based system for visa applications in Nigeria and also new payment routines.

The new system requires that the applicant must first pay the visa fee at a designated bank before filling out the application form and booking time for an appointment at the Embassy. The webpage is managed by a Nigerian bank with whom the Embassy is collaborating. Only applicants paying the visa fee in Nigeria will be able to use the webpage.

Application for Schengenvisa to Sweden and all information about payment and arranging appointment for interview will be obtained from www.swedenvisa.org
