Swedish Vice Minister for Trade arrives to Lagos – heads a delegation aimed at fostering business with Nigeria
This evening Swedish Vice Minister for Trade, Gunnar Wieslander, arrives to Lagos. He heads the second largest Swedish trade delegation to Nigeria, with more than twenty business and government representatives. The first meeting holds tomorrow with various Commissioners and the Secretary of the Lagos State Government.

On January 1, 2007 the Embassy of Sweden in Abuja, Nigeria introduced a new internet based system for visa applications in Nigeria and also new payment routines.
The new system requires that the applicant must first pay the visa fee at a designated bank before filling out the application form and booking time for an appointment at the Embassy. The webpage is managed by a Nigerian bank with whom the Embassy is collaborating. Only applicants paying the visa fee in Nigeria will be able to use the webpage.
