The Embassy of Sweden arranges a seminar on Transboundary Cooperation in the city of Oradea, Romania, together with the Chamber of Commerce of Oradea, and with the Swedish Trade Council in Bucharest and Budapest 16 March and 17 March. The aim of the seminar is to discuss transboundary cooperation and economic subregional integration in the dynamic Romanian-Hungarian region in order to see how such a collaboration can bring about beneficial advantages for economic, social and industrial development and how it can generate interesting business opportunities for example in the field of infrastructure. Several experts from Sweden (The Södertörn University College, the Baltic Sea Unit of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency etc.) and representatives from Swedish companies in Romania and Hungary as well as Romanian and Hungarian experts and businessmen will participate. A study trip to relevant companies in Debrecen, Hungary, is programmed. Participation in the seminar is free of charge. A similar combination seminar was carried through last year in Iasi, Romania, and Ungheni, Moldova with participants from Sweden, Romania and Moldova which was very appreciated.
