Ministry of Health, June 30, 2009

In connection with some inquiries made by EU citizens and institutions, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bulgaria would like to inform that documents certifying health condition, immunizations or other health certificates shall not be required in order to enter into this country. The Ministry of Health shall not keep duty personnel at the border checkpoints.

In case such documents have been required at any Bulgarian border checkpoint please refer to the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria.
