Jungfraujoch - "Top of Europe" - welcomes EU Ambassadors
As part of the EU-presidency, Swedens Ambassador in Switzerland – Per Thöresson – invited EU ambassadors, ambassadors of the candidate countries as well as the EU delegation to visit the climate research station on the Jungfraujoch on Monday, 21st September.

Princess Madeleine and Jonas Bergström announce their engagement
On Wednesday, 11th of June, Princess Madeleine and Jonas Bergström announced their engagement. The engagement has been approved of H M The King of Sweden. The date of the wedding has not yet been announced.

Free entries from 12 December 2008!
Switzerland is from the 12 December 2008 part of Schengen. From that time third-country nationals residing in Switzerland with a residence permit (C, B or L) do not need a visa to visit other Schengen countries, for a maximum of 90 days.
