Swedish PM Mr Fredrik Reinfeldt arrives in India for Bilateral Talks and the India-EU Summit

The Prime Minister of Sweden, Mr Fredrik Reinfeldt arrives in India on Thursday, November 5 for Bilateral Talks with his Indian counterpart Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and to head the EU delegation at the India-EU Summit. He is accompanied by Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Carl Bildt, Trade Minister Dr Ewa Björling and a 36-member high level delegation from the Swedish government and business community.

During his two-day India visit, PM Reinfeldt will participate in bilateral talks with Dr Singh, head the delegation at the EU-India Summit and meet Indian leaders including President of the Indian National Congress Party Mrs Sonia Gandhi, Leader of Opposition Mr LK Advani, Minister for External Affairs Mr SM Krishna. He will also call on President Pratibha Patil and Vice President Ansari.

The Prime Minister will interact with climate experts at TERI, visit Stockholm Water Prize winner Dr Bindeshwar Pathak’s Sulabh Gram and grace the Sweden-India Nobel Memorial Dinner held by the Ambassador of Sweden, HE Mr Lars-Olof Lindgren.
Before leaving the country, he will visit the Taj Mahal in Agra.
