The Swedish Presidency of the EU 1 July - 31 December 2009

The Swedish Presidency of the EU is launched. From 1 July and for 6 months on, Sweden will lead the work of the European Union.

To mark the start of the Swedish EU Presidency, H E Ambassador Sven-Olof Petersson was interviewed by Canberra Times.
