UK premiere for Swedish Play Expectations

After rave reviews in Sweden The Gothenburg English Speaking Theatre (GEST) will be bringing the play Expectations to the Contact Theatre in Manchester from 13 - 17 October.

The play 'is an honest, moving and hard hitting tale of two couples, one English, one Swedish, who discover that their babies have a rare chromosome disorder. There are choices to be made, fears and secrets to be shared. As we follow their different chosen paths the two couples are finally brought together through the support organisation Unique.'
Expectations is written and directed by Unique member parents Kristina Branden Whitaker and Gary Whitaker and performed in both Swedish and English.
