The Ambassador will give inauguration speech at the Flower and Art of Garden Show

For the fifth year in a row, 5-7 June, the Flower and Art of Garden Show, is arranged at Károlyi Kastély, Fehérvárcsurgó, Petöfi u. 2.

On Friday 5 June the Ambassador of Sweden, Cecilia Björner, will be giving an inauguration speech at 12.30 pm, together with the Ambassador of France and the Ambassador of the Czech Republic.
At 2 pm Leena Hansson, the head gardener from Linnaus garden in Uppsala, will be giving a lecture.
At 5 pm the group “Hortus Musicus 99” will be playing Swedish chamber music.

Entrance fee: 600 forint for adults, 400 forint for children, students and pensioners.

Lukas Moodyson’s critically acclaimed movie “Together” (Együtt) is about life in a Swedish collective during the mid-1970’s. Elisabeth decides to leave her violent husband Rolf and takes her daughter Eva and her son Stefan with her to go and live with her brother Göran in a collective, together with people with leftist sympathies. Elisabeth slowly gets accustomed to the new model of society, while Stefan continues to miss his father, and Eva starts seeing a boy from the house across the street.
