As a light start of the Swedish Presidency of the European Union the Embassy of Sweden in Prague arranged a Climate Quiz in the Embassy garden 2-10 July.

Climate Change is one of the two most important priorities during the Swedish Presidency of the EU.

The Climate Quiz was arranged by the Embassy of Sweden together with the Main Partners SKANSKA and ABB and the Partners IKEA and NIBE, four Swedish companies in the Czech Republic that are focussing on environmental and climate issues.

The Climate Quiz consisted of 10 climate change related questions with three alternatives for answers.

The quiz showed to be a bit difficult but two persons had 10 right answers. Věra Žaková from Úvaly won the first price, a trip for two to Stockholm, the European Green Capital in 2010. When the Embassy called to congratulate Eva she said that she had never been in Sweden before and that she was looking forward to see Stockholm. She explained that she has a genuine interest in environmental topics and had learned a lot from two courses about the European Union that she took with her employment.

The Embassy congratulates all the other winners as well!
