The Nobelprize 2009
Since 1901, the Nobel Prize has been honoring men and women from all corners of the globe for outstanding achievements in physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, and for work in peace. The foundations for the prize were laid in 1895 when Alfred Nobel wrote his last will, leaving much of his wealth to the establishment of the Nobel Prize.The Nobel Prize is an international award administered by the Nobel Foundation in Stockholm, Sweden. Each prize consist of a medal, personal diploma, and a cash award.

Welcome to the Embassy of Sweden in Vienna
Welcome to the Embassy of Sweden in Vienna, Austria. The Swedish Embassy represents the Swedish government in Austria and is at the same time the permanent representation of Sweden at the United Nations' offices in Vienna. The main duty of our embassy is to strengthen the relations between Sweden and Austria, to spread information on Sweden and to support Swedish interests and activities in Austria.
