  • Nov 11 2009 Climate change – a common challenge and top EU priority
    On November 11th 2009, the Embassy of Sweden in its capacity as Presidency of the European Union, together with United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) and the Kenyan Institute for Law and Environmental Governance (ILEG), organised a conference in Nairobi under the theme "Climate Change: A Common Challenge". The conference was intended to contribute to raising awareness on the impacts that climate change and the climate change negotiating process has and will have on Kenya and its people, and on the actions needed now and beyond the upcoming climate change conference in Copenhagen (COP15). The conference attracted close to 200 enthusiastic participants from all sectors and backgrounds.

Ambassador Dismorr presented her credentials by which His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf, has appointed her to be the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden, to the Republic of Kenya.
