The Swedish export to Israel increased by 39% and represents now a total value of some 3.5 billion SEK (close to 320 million Euro). In compaison the total Swedish export to the Middle East increased with 26 %. Also the import from Israel to Sweden increased to a current value of 1.1 billion SEK (more than 100 million Euro), an increase of 8% compared to the previous year.
Swedish exports are dominated by telecommunication equipment, paper and board, trucks and busses, parts for motor vehicles and steel and iron.
Imports are concentrated to food, chemical products (including pharmaceuticals) and engineering products.
