Swedish rap artists to Israel

The Swedish rap artists, Behrang Miri and Hampus Fredrik Linder, are invited by Sabreen Association to Israel. During the stay they will conduct musical workshops to youngsters and make performances in Haifa, Nazareth, Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

This is a joint project between the Danish Centre for Cultural Development, ‘The Middle East Peace Orchestra’ and Sabreen Association for Artistic Development.

Ms Emily Elhacham was awarded a Diploma of Excellence for developing a potential Lifesaving Nanosensor Technology breakthrough. The winner was a Turkish student who developed an innovative method for generating energy through piezoelectric pulses from falling rain drops. In all, national winners from 30 countries will competed for the honour, which included a USD 5,000 price award and a blue crystal sculpture in the shape of a water droplet.
