Swedish music artist Johan Fotmeijer to Tel Aviv

One of the rising Swedish underground music artist Johan Fotmeijer will be participating in the c.sides Festival 11-14th February in Jaffa, Tel Aviv.

Johan Fotmeijer is gaining international recognition with releases on labels such as Boxer, Italic and Mitek. His music style reflects his diverse musical background - electro, rock, techno, hiphop, acid, minimal and it's allways moving towards the sound of tomorrow.

The 3rd c.sides Festival will host over 30 leading performances from Israel and around the world at the Caliph building in Jaffa. The Caliph will be adapted especially for the event using lights and video and the festival will take place within the entire complex hosting several stages and spaces that together create a unique emergence between performances, parties, screenings, installations and more.

February 12th - performances at the Caliph, doors open at 19:00 parties until morning
February 13th - performances at the Caliph, doors open at 19:00 parties until morning

The 3rd c.sides Festival is taking place as part of Contempo - the Tel Aviv International Festival for Contemporary Music and Video Art and with the support of the Goethe Institute, Institut Francais, The Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the Danish Rock Council and SPOT festival.

The winner was a Turkish student who developed an innovative method for generating energy through piezoelectric pulses from falling rain drops. In all, national winners from 30 countries will competed for the honour, which included a USD 5,000 price award and a blue crystal sculpture in the shape of a water droplet.
