The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, through the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Marketing facilitated by Sweden (on behalf of various Development Partners) is launching the Tanzania Trade Integration Strategy (TTIS) for the period 2009 – 2013.

The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania and Sweden have today signed a Bilateral Financing Agreement under which Sweden will provide Swedish Kronor 229.6 Million, equivalent to Tanzania shillings 44.4 billion to the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania on Research Cooperation for the Period 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2013.

Introduction: The Firth EDCTP (European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership) Forum took place in Arusha, Tanzania, on October 12-14.
