The Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City receives and processes certain consular matters in the southern provinces of Vietnam, for example emergency passports for Swedish Citizens and authentication of certain documents. The Swedish Trade Council's Office is situated in the same building with the Honorary Consulate General, helping Vietnamese and Swedish entities to find market information, establish partnerships, and advising them on matters of import/export and investments. Mr Håkan Ottosson, Vice Concul, is the Chief Representative of the Swedish Trade Council in Vietnam.
