Peter Bjorn and John formed in Stockholm in 1999. The band members are Peter Morén (vocals, guitar, and harmonica), Björn Yttling (vocals, bass, vocals, and keyboards), and John Eriksson (drums, percussion, and vocals). The band released their first album called Peter Bjorn and John in 2002. They are best known for the 2006 single Young Folks, which featured Victoria Bergsman, and was a top 20 hit in the UK Singles Chart. The hit was featured in the 2008 motion picture 21, the video game FIFA 08, and the pilot episode of the hit TV series Gossip Girl. The band released their most recent album, Living Thing, in March 2009.

El Perro del Mar is a musical project that was founded in December 2003 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The sole member of El Perro Del Mar is Sarah Assbring. From 2004 to late 2005, her records had only been released by the Swedish label Hybris, but in 2006, Sarah experienced a host of new found success when her self-titled album El Perro Del Mar was picked up by UK-based label, Memphis Industries. In 2008, El Perro Del Mar was awarded with the Swedish Radio's Best Pop award for From The Valley To The Stars; her second full-length album. In April 2009, El Perro Del Mar's third album Love Is Not Pop was released in Scandinavia.
