The Birthday Party – ceramist Mia E Göransson

‘The Birthday Party’ marks the tenth birthday of the Flow Gallery. To celebrate the occasion, the gallery invited 12 passionate women collectors to nominate 12 artists with the brief to create a place setting for a festive table. Swedish ceramist Mia E Göransson, selected by Lady Frances Sorrel, takes inspiration from nature for her setting of cups and vessels.

Mia E Göransson trained at University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and is a member of the well known economic society Blås och Knåda for potters and glassblowers, also in Stockholm. She has exhibited her work widely, both in Sweden and internationally.
