PERFORMANCE: Termik in New York

The performance duo Termik with choreographer Teresia Björk and composer Mikael Godée, will present their work in New York. They will also develop a new production together with poet Ron Padgett and choreographer Douglas Dunn to open at Douglas Dunn & Dancers on Broadway.

Termik will guest perform with their own production of Angel at the Church of Sweden on November 11 and at Douglas Dunn & Dancers on November 20 and 21.

They will also present a special music and dance workshop for children at Scandinavia House on November 14. While in New York, Teresia Björk will also work together with poet Ron Padgett and choreographer Douglas Dunn on the production of Light as Air to be presented at  Douglas Dunn & Dancers on November 20 and 21.

Termik is dancer and choreographer Teresia Björk and musician and composer Mikael Godée. Since 2007, they have presented site-specific music and dance performances on stages and at art galleries, libraries and public spaces. Termik also works with text in their performances to reach new audiences outside the traditional venues.
