+/-24 Nov 2009Public Lecture at SRII: Johan Fredborn, "EU security and environmental degradation in the Eastern Mediterranean region"Johan Fredborn Larsson was born and raised in southern Sweden. He is studying environmental and security policies, as well as youth culture. He holds a BA in Russian (Nancy, France), a BA in Economics, a BA in Politics (Lund, Sweden), and an MA in European Politics (College of Europe, Bruges Belgium). He has also been studying at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the Saint Petersburg State University (Russia) and has carried out several longer field studies in Asia. As a researcher at the Swedish Research Institute in Istanbul, he is currently continuing his research on the consequences on EU security of environmental degradation in the Eastern Mediterranean region. Furthermore, he is fascinated by jazz, urban planning, and photography.
